Neural Recording

Figure of model STN DBS local field potential recording.

We study the biophysics of how electric fields generated by neurons are recorded as voltage fluctuations on electrodes implanted in brain tissue. This includes single unit recordings on microelectrodes, as well as local field potential recordings on macroelectrodes.
